Michael was nominated as VyStar’s “Next Top Credit Union Executive” early in his career, and was recognized as “Outstanding Business Individual of the Year” by Saint Johns County, one of Florida’s top-rated school districts. He models lifelong learning through completed coursework at Saint Johns River State College, Florida State University’s Common Sense Economics course, a Personal Financial Literacy Certificate from Texas Tech University, multiple Credit Union Education Program courses, and Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt Certification.
